Entrenchment of Dahren

The entrechment of Dahren is a semicircular section rampart on the top of a rocky hill. The rampart is up to 9 m high, it is to the north-west at the escarpment opened. The inner space is 30 x 40 m big and so he count to the smaller constructions. Caused on the indications is the entrenchment rather a youngslavic scale castle, which was used primary as a military defence in the 11. - 12. century.

Dahrener Schanze

Halbkreisförmiger Abschnittswall auf der Spitze einer felsigen Anhöhe. Die Höhe des Walles beträgt bis zu 9 m, nach Nord-Westen am Steilhang geöffnet. Mit einem Innenraum von 30 x 40 m gehört Burgwall zu den kleineren Anlagen.
Nach den Funden ist sie eher eine jungslawische Skalenburg, die im 11. - 12. Jahrhundert vorrangig als militärische Verteidigungsanlage bewirtschaftet war.
